No Roaming with No Client Warning

I have set up a number of users to become roaming and all have worked well. All users were on 6.5.5 on Windows XP.

However, I have one user who is on Windows Vista (still on 6.5.5) and although I set him to begin the roaming process, he never gets the message on his client telling him that he is being upgraded, thus the process stops. I have tried downgrading him, making sure all the admin processes have done what they were meant to, and then reinitiated the roaming process, with no luck.

Could this be an issue with running 6.5.5 on Vista, or could this be something else?

Subject: Found Fix

After many phone calls with IBM, we have now found the fix to my particular problem (and maybe yours too).

In the notes.ini of the problem client, add the line RoamingUpgrade=2 then rerun the client.

This, in my case, re-enabled the prompt which was not appearing.
