GreetingsWe have undertaken an upgrade of our Domino infastructure to 8.5.1FP3. After upgrading the server I have run a compact -c -n -v -Zu -daos on tp upgrade the ODS of all the mail files. All the clients run local replicas of their mail files and since the upgrade we’ve noticed that a large number no longer receive new mail notifications. The current configuration os to replicate the mail file every 3 minutes but his seems to have little effect. The clients are running Notes 6.5.1 and it seems to be fairly widespread although not for everyone.
Creating a new local replica of the mail file looks like it solves the issue.
Has anyone come across this before or knows of a fix as we still have quite a few thousand users to do yet?
