No network ports / Internal setup error status 0x15f4

Hi,

i just tried to install domino 6.5.4 under SuSE 9.2. During remote server setup at the dialog box “Domino network settings”, I have nothing under “Enabled port drivers”. When I click “Customize”, I can’t see any port driver, not even 127.0.0.1.

If I continue the setup anyway, it fails after 1% with “Internal setup error status 0x15f4”

The server’s network itself is fully operational, I can ping it, can reach the apache… everything else works fine.

Does anyone have any idea?

Seemed to be a java problem.I’ve installed JRE 1.4.2_06, deleted domino completely, reinstalled it and it worked

I’ve been having the same problem. Except in SuSE 9.2 the java version you mention is already installed!

Are you using IBM’s JRE or Sun’s? Also, have you upgraded your kernel?

I’ve tried upgrading to Sun’s 1.5.0_02 or whatever the exact ver. # is. No dice.

Any help would be appreciated.
