Hi People,

I have the problem below when a access one web service developed in Axis.

On my code, a devine the system property called org.apache.commons.logging.LogFactory=org.apache.commons.logging.impl.NoOpLog

so:

System.setProperty(“org.apache.commons.logging.LogFactory”, “org.apache.commons.logging.impl.NoOpLog”);

and i try define the file called

commons-logging.properties, but out sucess.

I like know where i define this implementation.

the version of Lotus note is 6.0.3 and do VM is 1.3.1.

Take a look here re: having to “relax” some security in the java config of domino.

I also found that when using Axis 1.2.1 and the “commons-logging-1.0.4.jar” that comes with it, even after changing the policy file, I would still get the error.

I reverted to an older commons-logging.jar from an earlier version, and it seems to work after that.

Hi, I am trying to create a soap message in my java UDF as:SOAPMessage msg = MessageFactory.newInstance().createMessage();

I am getting ‘java.lang.ExceptionInInitializerError’ error with exception as:

org.apache.commons.discovery.DiscoveryException: No implementation defined for org.apache.commons.logging.LogFactory

Same code is working fine with WSAD5.1 but when I use it in Java UDF with DB2 it throws this error…kindly help.
