After creating an ID Vault for my organization, When i register users, i am getting the following error.
ID ‘C:\Program Files\IBM\Lotus\Notes85\Data\ids\people\user1.id’ failed to upload to vault ‘’ on server ‘CN=Server/O=Org’. ‘administrator/Org’ made request. Error: No cluster mates found
I am using a new location document for creating users and checked all the settings. Everything seems to be correct only and the server is not in cluster.
It sounds like there is a problem in locating the vault server.
What version of the Domino Server is the user’s home server running? Is it at least Release 8.5 or later? (A user’s home server or at least one server in a home server cluster must run Release 8.5 or later.)
You can try applying the following notes.ini variable to the client: “DEBUG_IDVAULT_SERVER_SELECTION=1”
This traces the search for the vault server location and may provide some clues about the problem.
As with all debug notes.ini variables, add the variable into the notes.ini file, collect your data, and then take the variable out.
