No certificate in the address book

Trying to setup ID recovery for one of our domains. Works OK for ou2/ou1/o, but get error “No certfictae in the address book” when I try to setup for ou3/ou1/o. I have recreated the address book entry for ou3/ou1/0 as per instructions form Gregory S Gartland in a previous listing. But still get this error. Any ideas?

Did you wait for (a) replication to carry the certificate document to other servers’ NABs and (b) the server’s view caches to refresh (up to five minutes)?

Subject: RE: No certificate in the address book

yes I have tried that and an updall to refresh any indexes. Everything looks to be in the correct place.

Using your Admin Client, 1. Go to the Configuration tab

  1. Look at the Certification Tools.

  2. At the bottom you will see ID Properties. Select this tool. Then using the dialog box, open the Certifier.

  3. Enter the password for the Certifier.

  4. Go to the Your Identiy area

  5. Go to Your Certificates

  6. Choose Other Actions

  7. Select Mail, Copy Certificate (Public Key)

  8. Click on Copy Certificate

  9. Click Close

  10. Click Close again

  11. Open the Domino Directory for your Notes Domain

  12. Open the Certificates View

  13. Find the appropriate Certificate Document (the one you recreated)

  14. Edit the Document

  15. Paste the public Key in the Certified Public Key field

  16. Save and close the document

  17. Rebuild your view indexes

  18. Delete the previous attempts from Admin4.nsf

  19. Replicate your directory and Admin4.nsf changes around your environment.

  20. Try your change again.
