No access to console

We had a crash on the Windows 2003 server that my main Domino server runs on. We’ve been using this server for many years and I have always been the administrator. After restarting the server I am now getting a “No Access to Console” message on the Status tab under Server in the administrator client.

I’ve checked the security settings and they are still the same as before. I’ve run a NFIXUP and NCOMPACT on names.nsf but to no avail.

Has anybody had this problem and resolved it? I’ve been checking in the forums and can’t see any resolutions. I also have this error on a server on a remote site but this has been the case from day 1 with that server. Not being a well used one at present we have lived with it but this is our busiest server and we need this sorted soon.

Many thanks for the feedback. The Environmental variables were screwed up. Reset them to what they should have been and all working OK now (at least on the Main server). Will try the other server next time I am at our remote site.
