Nnpas.exe taking up most of the CPU

Executable, nnpas.exe, it taking up most of the cpu usage. It looks as if that the file deals with premium anti-spam. This executable has been given us issues, but recently more so. Has anyone else experienced this issue and if so what suggestions do you have, or what did you do to help alleviate this issue.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

that executable is a part of Symantec Mail Security. If you are not using the antispam capabilities you can remove it from the ServerTasks line on the servers Notes.ini

Thanks Charles for responding!

What if you are using the antispam capabilities, is there a way to tweak something to make this executable a little less agitated?

I’m newbie at lotus domino, what other antispam utility could I use instead, if I can’t fix the nnpas problem?
