Problem:
While opening New Memo in R6.0.1 & R6.5 or Taking Print Out of a PDF File the following error comes:
“NLNotes.exe error: The instruction at “0x77FCCA14” refrenced memory at “0x00000000”.The memory could not be written.Click OK”
As soon as you click OK the following error comes:
“NLNotes.exe error: The instruction at “0x77FCC823” refrenced memory at “0xFFFFFFF8”.The memory could not be read.”
Solution:
This could be the after effect of Sasser worm, as a result few files in the
%SystemRoot%/System32 folder gets corrupted.
The solution for this is as follows:
1] First update the McAFee S/W with 4359 DAT.
2] Clean the PC after booting in Safe Mode, first with the Stinger(version 10th May 2004) and then with McAFee (4359 DAT).
3] For Win2K O/S : Reinstall the SP4 with archive option. ( This will ask to uninstall the old one or not, there click YES to uninstall first)
For Win XP O/S : Reinstall the SP1 with archive option. ( This will ask to uninstall the old one or not, there click YES to uninstall first)
4] Then reboot the PC.
With this I have really got the result.
