Newly upgraded Domino 8.5 crashed

Hi all,

We have just upgraded our Domino 6.5.1 to 8.5 on 14th of October. For the past 2 days, the server running smoothly until this afternoon. Firstly, the server crashed with an error message:-

Thread=[13C8:03C3-15E8]

Stack base=0x1FDC0088, Stack size = 3516 bytes

PANIC: Insufficient memory.

The server crashed while replicating users database with its cluster server.

And secondly, while rebooting the server, this error appears:-

10/17/2009 05:26:43 AM E:\Lotus\Domino\Data\SHAREDMAIL\sm000010.nsf is used for shared mail storage, please unlink mail files from this database.

How can i solve this 2 issues? Thanks a million.

Subject: First recommend upgrading to 8.5FP1

If it still runs out of memory, will need to open PMR with Lotus Support and look at nsd file generated when it PANICs to see why and debug from there.?

nobject.exe collect -force SHAREDMAIL\sm000010.nsf

followed by

nobject.exe collect unlink SHAREDMAIL\sm000010.nsf

from Domino Program Directory

Here’s a URL on how to remove shared mail…
