Newly replicated mail isn't being updated to the local mailbox

I’ve been having this recurring problem where Notes will replicate with the server sucessfully and even display the new mail icon in the taskbar but when I go into my local mailbox, the new emails aren’t listed. I’ve re-replicated and refreshed but it will take a good 10-15 minutes before the new emails appear.

If I go into the server mailbox, I can see the emails without a problem. It’s like notes isn’t updating the local replica.

Any help would be greaty appreciated as I work on a customer site and have to connect to my mail server through AT&T, which is very slow.

Are you sure that the new emails aren’t coming in and just being displayed in your “All Documents” view? I would suggest you check the “all documents” view in your local replica to see if your new mail resides there. If it does then chances are there is something wrong with your “Inbox” view. Common issues are 1)you have a folder called “Inbox”, so it confuses the heck out of Notes and just dumps it into All Docs. Or 2) Possible “Inbox” view corruption. This can generally be fixed pretty quickly by the admin. Just by opening up your mail file. Move all your current inbox docs to a temporary folder. Delete the “Inbox” folder from Designer then refresh the design of the database. I hope this helps.
