I been evaluating Notes 6 with the free 90 day trail download. I’m having problems setting up more the two email accounts, to be more specific i’m having trouble setting up more than one under the same domain. My second problem is how do you set notes to route email from a specific account to a specific folder, I’ve tried using the “RULES” feature but to no success.
Lastly is there a .pdf version of the manuals for the Notes 6 Client.
I know all of my issues are user related, my lack of knowledge of the product, but i’m having a hard time finding the material on how to use and set up the product.
Do a search on my name in this forum for a workaround to the POP mail problem. (Use the word “host” to narrow down the responses.)
Rules don’t work on client-based (ie POP) email, only on mail coming through the server. (The rules code is implemented in the Router task, which runs only on the server. Yes, we know this is dopey - complain to IBM/Lotus.)

Is there any books out there that could give me a good idea about the product. I am evaluating it for now. Going to class for it is some way off for now, if at all.
I maintain several “sendmail” servers where i have an admin and one user account on each to check frequently. I have setup serveral folders in the mail section of notes so when i get email from a certain account i can move it to that particular folder. After I move the messages, the next time I check for new ones it pulls all the email again to the INBOX. Does anyone have a suggestions on how I can resolve this issue? NOTE: i setup notes to keep the email on the server.

One question - are you retrieving the mail via POP3? If so, check the Account document, under the Protocol Configuration tab and set the “Leave mail on server” field to ‘No’
If your intent was to pull the mail down but leave it on the server and file it locally then you may have a problem… This has been an issue with Notes for a long while unfortunately.
