New web based application to Update form

I have been tasked to create a web based application and there is one part I cannot figure out.

It is a mail in database which needs to be displayed to a web browser (which I have all the views and forms working so far)

I need to add a button or URL to run an agent to change a few fields on the form and save it and then return to the original view from which the document was selected but it is not opened in edit mode but view only.

To call an agent using URL command: http://www.mercury.com/sales/leads.nsf/Process+New+Leads?OpenAgent

Use the EditDocument URL command to open a document in Edit format.

eg:-

http://www.mercury.com/products.nsf/By+Part+Number/PC156?EditDocument

To go back to a particular page on submitting the Form, use $$Return field.
