Due to some reasons, we have to rollout a new customized events4.nsf.
Unfortunately, we do not have any test servers at the
moment.
So the question is, if this can be done without server stopping?
Or do we have to shutdown the servers, replace the existing events4.nsf with the new one (they have different replica-ids), and start the servers again? I am not sure about this because it is a system database.

Keep in mind that replica ID of events4.nsf is related to your names.nsf.

tell event quit then replace, then load event.any schedule doc to replicate to other domino server? stop it if you do not want to rep it over…what’s the customized events4 for/about? if you don’t mind me asking.

Thanks for your answer. We will implement a 3rd party server monitoring tool, which interacts with events4.nsf and statrep.nsf.
