I’ve got lotus notes 6.5.1 client with a mail database on a domino 5.0.11 server.
When I make a new replica on the local disk of the computer and open this database, all the mails are unread ( red color ) ?
Why didn’t it take an exact copy of the maildatabase on the server ? The mails should be unread like on the server ?

Unread marks are not automatically replicated between replicas, but are stored in the local desktop.dsk database.

If you are enabling or disabling replication of unread marks for one database, you can do so directly from the client. Open the database for which you are enabling or disabling replication of unread marks. Choose Files - Database - Properties. Click the tab furthest to the right on the Properties dialog box. Choose one of the “Replicate Unread Marks” settings to enable or disable replication of unread marks.
