New organisation certificat

Hello,

I am in charge of a Domino server with 2000 users hosted on it. Since this current week, all users used to have the same certificate as following:

William STEVAN/DNS.COM

It has been decided to create dedicated certificates by country, in order to have those:

William STEVAN/US/DNS.COM

or

William STEVAN/FR/DNS.COM

or

William STEVAN/DE/DNS.COM

How can I do it? Can someone help me on that topic?

Many thanks in advance.

William.

Subject: New organisation certificat

Hello,

It is basically what I followed. But, when U want recertifie one user with this new certificate, I get this error message into the certlog.nsf :

“The selected certifier is not an ancestor of the entity to be updated”

Any help ?

Many thanks.

William.

Subject: Re:

Hi, probably you want to move existing users to new created OU.

Recertification is not the right process in this situation.

You need to use People-Rename-Request Move to New Certifier process.

Few extra steps are needed.

Hello Arkadiusz,

Thanks for your tips, but still the same problem. I even can not see the new certificates into the names.nsf, Security’s section.

Make sure your are registering new OU’s on the right server and the changes are replicated within domain.

It is also possible, that you can few replicas of names.nsf (that is not allowed) on the server and that is causing the issues.
