Hello,
In a form I want to make a button, which opens a new memo form and automatically fills the SendTo field, the subject field and the body field with a text simular like beneeth. People than can check, and, if wanted, change the mail before sending it.

Greetings,
ICT department.
I’ve been trying to do this with the @mailsend option (I know then I don’t get to see the memo form, but it was the only way I could think of), but I don’t succeed in getting the described text in the body field.
One sentence (only text) goes well, but when I combine it with @newline and more fields it doesn’t work any more.
Please help.
Thanks,
Cindy.
Subject: New memo button
Use query string
I have something similar that works
behind the button place something like this:
ServerAndPath:=“http://"+@Name([CN];@ServerName)+”/“+@ReplaceSubstring(@Subset(@DbName; -1); " " : “\”; “+” : “/”) + “/Memo?OpenForm&SendTo=”+EmpNameText+”&SubJect=“+SubjectText+”&Body="+BodyText;
URLOpen(ServerAndPath)
On your Memo form create a computed text field called Query_String with value Query_String
In your fields on the memo (editable or computed doesnt matter) form make the default formula something like this for the subject field for example:
Temp1:=@Right(Query_String;“SubJect=”);
Temp2:=@Left(temp1;“&Body”);
temp2
work out similar formulas for the other fields
Subject: New memo button
I used this one:
@Command([MailComposeMemo]);
@Command([EditInsertText]; “Test Recipient”);
@Command([EditGotoField] ; “Subject”);
@Command([EditInsertText]; “Test Subject”);
@Command([ViewRefreshFields])
I did find it somewhere else on the forum.
It works perfect.
