I was relly pleased to read on www.lotus.com/ei that the documentation for LSX LC got improoved:
Spotlight “We’ve taken your feedback and made significant improvements to the LC LSX user guide. Check out the latest guide on LDD. Or just click here to download.”
You are incorrect. I agree with Alex, I can’t find the exact LC LSX documentation either. The website links to LEI documentation and the overall “Lotus Connectors and Connectivity Guide” which are different than the “Lotus Connector LotusScript Extensions Guide” file name lsxlc6.nsf. Also, those website links are for pre-release 6.5.3 and 7 Beta 2 docs, not versions ready for prime-time.
It appears all of them except 6.5.3 (which as you note is pre-release) do have the LC LSX guide. E.g. this page has the docs for 6.5.2.
The LC LSX documentation is also in the Domino Designer help now, so you should already have the released version for your current Notes version. It was I who reviewed and rewrote much of it about a year and a half ago. I’m no longer on that team, and don’t know whether there’s been any work done in the last few months on content – probably not much. Last I heard, the documentation group was working on formatting it to match the style of the rest of the Designer docs (which is harder than it sounds).
I have the LC LSX Guide that came separately from Designer Help with ND 6.5. If it is now incorporated into Designer Help, then this is the first I am hearing this. Alex’s news that there is updated doc available made me think that it might pertain to 6.5 but maybe it is just for the latest point release 6.5.x. Anyway, I don’t have any issues with LC LSX at the moment. I know how to use it.
