After installing the 6.0.1 client on a new machine, we launch the client to enter the Setup phase.
As noted in the documentation, we have been able to enter ANY server name from our domain as the “Domino Server Name” using the 6.0 installation. During the setup phase, the correct mail server for the user would be populated in the location document(s) for the newly created address book.
With 6.0.1, this is no longer true. Instead, whatever is typed into the server name field is entered into the location record of the address book. This presents a HUGE problem for larger deployments, where we have over 10,000 customers and 10 mail servers to choose from.
Hopeful for a quick (as possible) solution to this one.
