New goodlooking anti-spam solution

Hello

SPAMfighter has just released a new edition of their SPAMfighter Domino Module. Version 1.0.6.1 now has a much better looking interface, and is really easy to configure. In fact, for a small business, all it takes for it work, is an email-address, and in 5 minutes youre up and running.

At the moment it only works on Windows servers.

Check it out from here:

There is a 90-day trial-period, and after that it is pretty inexpensive to keep going.

SPAMfighter ApS. is europe’s leading anti-spam provider and is situated in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Kind regards

Subject: Please remove your SPAM from the forum.

If every vendor starts to do this the forums will become of less value. Yes times are hard, but please find other ways of raising the awareness for your products.

Subject: C’mon - this is not spam

Hi Carl

The “Forum use and etiquette” says to not use the forum for:

“Excessive commercial promotion or recruiting efforts”

Do you really find my message overly excessive?

I know I’m promoting a certain piece of software, but there are not that many anti-spam solutions Domino, and most of them are expensive and complicated to set up. So if I can help an administartor save some time and money, that’s not that bad is it?

Kind regards

Subject: Where would it stop?

Someone else did it a few days before you, what happens to this forum when we start getting this type of posts multiple times a day? I view it as spam. Maybe if someone was asking a question asking about spam solutions and your post was not in response, then I would probably have viewed it differently. As it is, I see it as unwanted noise.

Subject: Unsolicited product plugs=SPAM

The “Forum Use and Etiquette” resource defines how the forum should be used.

I, along with what I think would be a majority of users, don’t want vendor posts unless in direct response to a posted inquiry. There are plenty of places for vendors to promote their products. Thomas had it right, suggesting the forum will be diluted with vendor posts.

Subject: Adding my vote to “Doesn’t belong here”

Although I can very easily wade past any item that doesn’t interest me, I agree it doesn’t belong. It doesn’t bother me as much but strictly speaking it’s a sales pitch in a forum that has a sign on the door that says no solicitors.
