New Drive for Data Directory

Currently all our mail databases reside on the E drive on the server in the Lotus\Domino\Data directory.

I cannot easily add more drive space to this E drive and was wondering if it is possible to configure Domino to read another drive as well as the current E drive.

So my goal here is to keep my E drive and add an F drive with lets say another 20GB’s. Then have Domino read the data directory on the E and F for mail files.

Any ideas?

Subject: New Drive for Data Directory

Look at ‘directory links’ to store data outside of the standard \data directory, but the new drive will be seen as one or more new folders. I don’t believe that you can use directory links to combine 2 different OS drives into one domino folder. You could name the new drive as the ‘mail’ folder and move all your mail databases to it.

There may be a way to have the OS treat the new drive as an extension of the E drive?
