i’m having a refresh problem with certain database since my upgrade to notes 7.
This happens time to time on newly created documents. The problem is that the getdoucmentbykey does not find the document in the view but the document is there.
The process is that this is a mail-in database and when a new document arrives, i ship-it in DB2 and the save the notes document. Then, there is a small process in DB2. Once this process is done, there is a message sent in MQSeries which is read by a NotesAgent. This agent then updates the notesdocument in question. This is wehere the getdocumentbykey does not work at time to time !
I even try a db.search to find the document, but it does not work either.
I then wait a couple of minutes and try-it again … Bingo !! it finds the document and nothing has changed on the document.
I’m having this kind of problem (the document being there but NOTES does not realize-it fast enough!!!) since my upgrade to notes 7.
I am sure that it is not my code as this application has been rolling for 5 years and works on about 300 000 documents a year.
Has anyone else seen this kind of strange behavior ??? Maybe a server configuration problem ??
