I have made a simple change to an existing form as follows:
I have added a hidden computed field called totalRequired that has a value of “Y”
I have then created a view with a selection formula of SELECT totalRequired=“Y”
When I now update an existing document that was created with this form before the change, it appears in the view just as you’d expect
However, when I create a new document, it doesn’t appear in the view! But when I save it (without changing anything) it does.
But looking at a view that displays all documents, I can verify that the totalRequired field is definitely there and set to “Y”, both for a new document and after an update.
Also changing the view to select on any other previously existing field works fine, it seems it’s just new fields.
I’ve also change the name of the field to be the same as a field used in another form, just in case I’ve hit the max unique fields in a database limit, but still no joy!
This is driving me mad, can anyone please tell me I’m doing something really stupid and the answer is obvious?
Btw this is Notes client only.
Many thanks in anticipation.
