New copy loses Application Title

Hi All,

Whenever we create a new copy of an ntf template within the Notes Client the new copy loses the title specified.

The steps I take…

  1. Right click the Workspace icon of the Database template (ntf)

  2. Application → New Copy

  3. Specify the server, Title and filename

  4. Click OK

The Application title of the new copy is null. I then have to go to Application properties to set the title and this is then OK. This happens every time I make a copy of any application template and has happened on R6, R7 and R8/8.5.x

The other developers here also have the same issue.

Any ideas to what is causing this annoying issue?

No idea why, but I can confirm that I’ve had the same problem since R6 as well - including R7, R8 and R8.5.1
