New copty of database ,documents cannot be viewed by readers listed in readers fields

Hello all:I have a new copy of an existing database,old database works fine ,new copy of database (with new design elements)cannot be viewed by readers listed in readers fields,authors works fine ,but readers are not,can any one give me a hand

I just have one question: “Does the new design include the Readers field that was previously designed for the original database ?”

That doesn’t matter.

But the documents will honor the old readers field, so if there are roles in the old design, add them to the new design.

Adding new readers fields to a design does not change the data, however ! So if you added a readersfield with yourself in it , thinking that you would get access to all documents, you are wrong. You still need to refresh all documents!
