If the trace to the server fails, then Notes cannot connect to the server. Are you able to open databases on the server, such as your mail file? It is possible that it is something specific with your VPN, or maybe something with the OS.
Lowered MTU to 1300 and it worked fine. I actaully think the issue lies with my company firewall. Which we’ll be upgrading to newest revision (cisco) on the 15th… hopefully that ersolves the issue.
I am however going to check the MTU size from a Windows and a Linux client to make sure they are comparible.
