Hi,
I need to pick files from a folder structure in a mapped drive and simulate the same in a database in domino. Files are of 30 GB Auto Cad files which will have frequent revisions. Later
the database should be replicated to another domino server in a different geographic location.
After replication the files in domino should be copied back to the folder structure of mapped
drive in the second location.
At present we use ftp to transfer files which is taken care by a document controller. Can we use domino as a carrier to do the same. I need to automate the whole process and eliminate document controller. I mean, there wont be a person to open domino forms and attach the files.

Can the domino database exceed 10 GB…??

Could the files be compressed using LZ1 and replicated…??

Is it feasible to use domino for this or would any replication software do the job in a more easy , efficient way…??
