Netscape iNotes plugin

From Notes 6.00 to 6.01, Lotus apparently added a Netscape plugin for iNotes, because after refreshing the mail design, we’re now getting a prompt to install the plugin in the browser.

I followed the instructions, downloaded the plugin, restarted Netscape, then restarted the computer, but it still doesn’t run iNotes. It still says the browser is not certified for iNotes.

Does anyone know anything about this?

I’m using Netscape 4.75.

I don’t see Netscape listed in the Release Notes of 6.0.1CF1

As far I know this browser will be supported in Domino R6.5.

But only on newer versions of Netscape/Mozilla (It won’t work in Netscape 4.x for sure). You should try Mozilla Firebird (it’s the codename for what will be the official Mozilla Web browser later this year).

Do you know if that will work with Mozilla on Linux or only on Windows?

Well my understanding (from mini-lotusphere) is that they are changing from MS JVM to Sun JVM. That would tend to to indicate multiple platform support.
