We’re running multiple servers with 6.02CF1 and 6.51/6.52x and Netbackup 4.5 FP6, just switched some from Backup Exec 8.6. After initially migrating a server from one piece of hardware to another one, backing up 400GB’s only takes 5-6 hours. However, the backup performance gradually goes down to 19-21 hours which would indicate a fragmentation problem (not running any defrag tools/copy style compact) yet Backup Exec performance remains the same on similar hardware. Any ideas?
