We are currently running UNIX/SENDMAIL on the front end with about 6000 e-mails an hour. Mostly SPAM.
We like to migrate the front end to WINDOWS/DOMINO. Assuming the hardware is top notch with the latest and greatest, do you guys recommend this transition.

don’t know were your focus is…but yes Domino is accrue from a email server and yes you have many adjustments to control email traffic including spam-control inside Domino. But without a concrete view to your target in migrating to Domino as the eMail-solution, i think it isn’t “the solution”.Delibrate the outlays like: administration, know-how, existing domino servers or not?..aso, compare it with your implemented Sendmail environment. Than find the benefits of both solution and don’t forget the ROI, because this will be the major question for your management
