hi all,

i have one confusing problem with my form

here it is!!

i have one form , in that i have one combobox that is taking( ie through dblookup), i m retrieving value of one view named view1.

Now, nearer to combobox i have one picture(clickable), on clicking that the prompt is displaying, and will asks for entring value. and then i m saving it in my combobox.

now the question is, whatever value i m retriving is coming from (KEYWORD FORM BY DBLOOKUP). and whatever value i get enter and saved is another form.

but when next time i opens the form i should want my new value + old value in the combox!!!

How to do is i m littlebit confused!!

will anybody can seek inside this issue!!!

Subject: Use DbColumn

Create a view with the field you are referring as on of the columns. So whenever users create new documents using your form (with new values for the combobox field) it will get listed in this view. Now use @DBColumn and @Unique functions to retrieve all such user entered values. Modify the Combobox key word formula so as to include results of DBColumn as well.

Merge the two lists using ‘:’

:@Unique(@DbColumn(“”:“nocache”; “”; “By Category”; 1));
