Hi
I have an RSS news feed that I need to pull off the web (through our password protected company proxy) and turn each news summary item into a single Notes document. This is to be done via an agent that will run every 30 mins. The URL for the xml feed that is provided by the 3rd party info provider also needs a username and password.
I guess the best way to achieve this is via a Java agent, but I presume that someone out there has done something similar to this before? My experience of Java is somewhat limited, and I believe this can’t be done in LotusScript unless all servers are win32 (and not through a proxy).
If any one would be kind enough to share any Java agent code or advice it would be greatly appreciated. The stucture of the feed is as follows;
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1" ?>-
