I’m trying to implement a composite app that contains NSF components. When I look at the CAE on the server I see all the components. When another developer who has been working in the app with me looks at the CAE on the server, one of the NSF refuses to load. It was not working so I modified the WSDL on the server so that it would work. The other person can’t see the fix–and instead the panel doesn’t load at all. I can’t find documentation on deploying just a NSF CAE.(All the wiki entries I look at are empty). Any help would be appreciated.
Subject: wiki url with no information
Actually, I did not speak the total truth. When I went back to document this for you, I discovered that the wikis, while they had been modified from their original state said “undefined”. Unfortunately, I’m trying to get one of these apps to work for a customer and it’s driving me crazy to not be able to find the words of wisdom that will point me in the right direction to fix it!

Subject: A few things
What wiki entries are you seeing that are blank? Can you post the URls?
For the developer who is “not seeing” the component load, make sure they can open the database that is in the component first - it may be an access problem
WSDL is really only for wiring so it should have no bearing on whether it loads or not.
Subject: Today I’m the one who can’t load
I appreciate your feedback, but it is not an access issue. It has to have something to do with my not understanding how to deploy an application. We found, in some cases, if there was an icon on a user’s desktop for one of the database’s in the composite app that that portion would not load correctly. I have that situation right now. I’m getting a message “Unable to create document, database does not contain design element.” We found that deleting the icon on the desktop frequently solved this problem. I accept the fact that I still have a “lotus” brain, and since this application was created to run off the server I can’t see how having an icon on a desktop could affect this application. To verify my statement I just removed the icon on my desktop and the application is now working correctly. That’s what I’m trying to understand and any help you could give me would be appreciated.
