I am not trying to select, but would like to have a master database, that consolidate data from several databases. My plan is to have a summary view in respective database A, C and D.
And i create database B, which will select summary document from database A, C and D. Cause I want to avoid very long view refreshed time and huge view index build if I have every detail documents in same database.
would really appreciate any kind inputs.

In short, the simple answer is NO. Views display documents that reside in the same database.

does that mean I need different application, maybe oracle or MS Exchange, or SQL database, and it will need to select the information from these databases using SQL?
