One note, this is not my environment and therefore the information coming back to me is slow.
What is happening is a guy I am working with was getting messages quarantined by antivirus solution. The messages were released and we found that the messages were NDRs.
The original messages were scanned perfectly fine and sent out. However when a message is not able to be sent to a particular address and NDR is created and when this is created the message is smaller. There is a feature in Exchange that is documented that can do this and the purpose is to save bandwidth even though it corrupts the message.
Does anyone know if a feature like this exist in Domino, some appliance, a gateway, or anything else that can do this like in Exchange?
