nDolSync.exe problem

I have the following problem…

When I try to synchronize I get the following error:

nDolSync.exe has encouuntered a problem and needs to close.

We are sorry for any inconvienience.

Has anybody else seen this error? I am using a Windows XP client.

Also the Welcome Page has been setup incorrectly (set up to something that it does not have access to) and just displays “wait a moment, please” Is this related to the problem with the Sync manager?

Any help would be greatly appeciated.

Hi Adam,I had this exact issue recently at 5% of the original setup of the offline replica.

I found that the ID I was using needed to be recertified; the certificates has expired.

Once I recertified, it worked like a charm.

Hope you found a solution long ago. If not, try this.
