Hmm, just noticed that the Microsoft VM appears to be incompatible with ND7 view applets - has anyone else noticed this problem and got a work around (except loosing the view applets)
When the page loads, you just get a grey box and an applet error message is displayed in the status bar:
error: java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: java/lang/String: method compareToIgnoreCase(Ljava/lang/String;)I not found
Any suggestions would be warmly received

Anybody find a work around for this? I’ve just ran into this with one of my applications and have not seen a solution with the exception of not using the view applets.

Well, if you want to keep the view applets, you can upgrade to a new VM.
of course, there are still some programs which only work with the MS vm (Syncsort’s Backup Express is one of them, but it’s an otherwise fine product)
