You are using the ND6 version of webmail and when replying to an e-mail that has a PDF attachment in it, the PDF attachment file name is modified to append the number “1” to the end of the file name in the new memo. For example a PDF file of “yourdocument.pdf” becomes “yourdocument.pdf1”.
This issue is not always consistant. I have not been able to recreate the issue in my mail file, but one of my user’s mail files consistantly does this. Refreshing her mail file’s design does not seem to make a difference.
Subject: ND6 webmail and replying to a message with a PDF attachment
Reply or reply with history?
I can just testing this with an pdf within my mail file. I replyed with history to this message and the attachment was not modified. So the template design is not at fault.
My server is a Red Hat 7.3 Linux running Domino 6.0.2 CF2. I was IE 6.0.2800.1106 with 128-bit encryption.

Replying with history. I haven’t been able to consistantly reproduce this error… still trying to figure out what might be different. Was hoping maybe someone else had seen this issue and had an idea or two about it.
We’re running Domino on AIX 5.2. ND6 is 6.0.2 CF1.
