hi. i have and urgent help from you. i will briefly explain the scenario.
i have a frameset with ‘leftframe’ for navigator, ‘rightframe’ for view.
at the navigator, there is a button call ‘switch’ whereby it will change nav A to nav B.
Now this is the problem. when i’m in nav A. the view is view A. like this is correct. but once i click on the button ‘switch’, the nav A change to nav B. but view A still remains after clicking.
i hope is quite clear on the explaination.
please help me with a solution. had been looking for a solution since last week.
The simple answer is “don’t use a Navigator”. If you use an Outline, you can very easily switch framesets (link to a frameset and have that open into the _top frame). Navigators have been essentially deprecated since R5. If you insist on using a Navigator, then don’t use a frameset – just associate the Navigator with a view, the same way you’d do it in R4.x.
hi, stan. is it possible to have a clearer picture on how to do it. cos i’m a newbie to this application. then got to finish this asap. which i still now still can’t get a very precise solution.
