Our intranet was working fine… “famous last words”… Suddenly (due to nothing we can find yet) the LINKS on our intranet stopped being links. EXCEPT for the ones that were defined with full URLs (i.e. http://intranet.acme.com/dbname.nsf/xyz?openpage)
The only links that DON’T work… are ones that point to databases [other than the originating database] using Named Element in the property box…
If I try to remake the link in the outline… anything I try to make a Named Element link… doesn’t become a ‘hyper link’, it’s just ignoring them, ??
Subject: RE: Named Elements aren’t Naming Names… Where did all the Domino links go?
,And the answer is: Security on the target databases. R6 evaluates the access level of the user, when outputting the HTML, and if the user has insufficient access to the DB that the Outline is coded to display then the server won’t display the link.
I am finding that even with the proper access to the databases the links have been disabled. This is true of embeeded views across databases as well :(Elijah
