I have renamed a person after change in marital status (First name remains same). Everything went Ok. Now after 3 weeks timewhen any one is typing her first name in “To” field name lookup gives her old name. although mail gets delivered but it is desired that lookup return the new name only. Any ideas please, thanks in advance.
Subject: shortname and username aliases
Check her Person document in the public address book. The old name may still be listed in the “User name” and “Short name” fields. If it comes before her new name in the alphabet, it will show up first in lookups. The solution is to remove it from these fields.
Also be aware that some people may have entries in their Personal address books, which will need to be manually updated by the user. (Unless you have set up roaming. Then you could update it for them 
)

It was due to maiden name saved in the recent contacts of several user clients. As I had already removed her old user name from person document.Thanks, for your input.
