I’m fairly new to Lotus Domino and I am learning as I go.
A user requested a name change 2 months ago. After the name change, she is no longer receiving external email that is address to the old name. She wants to continue to receive external email that is sent to her old address, can this be done and if so, some direction would be greatly appreciated.
Subject: Name change/ mail forwarding
Add the old Internet address to the Shortname/UserID Field in the person document. Internal mail should be ok as both names listed under User name.

I added the old internet address to the Short Name/UserID filed in the person document and external emails still fail. Any other suggestions?

Ok, It works now. I added the old internet address to the internet address field in the person document and added the name only part of the address to the Short name/Userid field and it works now.
