NAB Group Security/Retricted Use

I have created a group in our NAB which will send emails to all our users throughout Australia. I have been asked if it is possible to restrict/block certain users from using this group.

My understanding is that once in the NAB, the group is available to all users.

Can someone please confirm/advise.

That was true in R5. Since Notes and Domino 6, you can use the “Who can read” document property of the Group document, and that read permission will be enforced on send. (In R5, if the user knew the name of the group it didn’t matter whether she could read the Group document or not.)
