Mymail.nsf mail file behaves differently in Web Browser to it's LOTUS Client interface.?

Hi, my mail file mymail.nsf was created from iNOTES60.ntf template. But why does it behave differently when it’s in a Web browser (IE6) to when it’s in a LOTUS notes client??? When it’s in a Lotus notes client, it’s perfectly fine. It can correctly formed my internet address in the “From”, “Replyto” field. But when I access and send email from mymail.nsf in a web browser, the “From”, “Replyto” field has my hierarchy email address and not my internet email address. Why is this the case, the same mymail.nsf behaves differently in web browser to when in Lotus Notes client?? How do I get the “From”, “Replyto” fields to get my correct internet email address. What codes do I need to change? Thanks.

Does your domino person document have your email address define?

In the Lotus Notes client you can have your email address defined. In having this location document field populated, the client will then use this field when you compose an email message. On the web there is such a document. Usually for the web it will check to make sure the email database owner was defined within the preferences. If it is defined, then the server will look at the internet address field value on the person document of the domino directory.
