Cristian,Tray to install a new client 6.5.2.
Uninstall your notes.
Remove every ting under lotus->notes directory except the data directory.
Remove files and directory that you don’t need under data directory.(don’t remove your names.nsf, Archive, replica, bookmarks.nsf, your ID file)
Install a fresh version of notes 6.5.2.

Try reinstalling Windows. If you also have these problems with Yahoo Messenger it seems unlikely to be a Notes problem
