After attaching file (ie. test.doc) there are sent 3 attachments instead of one: test.doc, 47294016.DTF, test.doc.002. Occurs only when sending to the internet domain; MIME settings on client are Base64 and AppleDouble. There are some file extensions that follow this pattern (ie. .jpg, .doc) and files which are sent normally (.docx, .pdf). If anyone know how to correct this, please, let me know.
Subject: can you provide a sample?
Please create a blank database and paste the received doc (the one that is showing 3 attachments instead of one).
Thanks.
Subject: Sample database
Please see attached db.

Subject: Possible workaround …
Could you please try to check “Create windows-friendly attachment” while attaching the file?
In fact, there is a known issue that in Mac Notes 8.5: When you attach a Microsoft Office 2008 .DOCfile in Notes mail, and want to send the mail to a SMTP mail box on Macintosh, you need enable the “Create Windows-friendly attachment” option. If you do not, the receipt cannot open the attachment

Subject: Workaround works
Option “Create windows-friendly attachment” works fine, thank you.
I observed this issue with .doc and .jpg files as well.
Subject: Tip: I would test against other recipeints (e.g. yahoo.com account), too.
Usually all files should be able to make it. I am not into details, but if you want help, I think you need to add more info (detailed version of server, is there a relay or something etc)
