Multiples mails @ on multiple domains

Hello,

As our company is growing, we are changing domain name. We use Domino as a mail server only. Right now, people have a mail adress john.smith@domain1.com

We are adding a new domain name: domain2 and would like that our users be able to send / receive mails on john.smith@domain2.com and still have their old mail adress valid too. Both adresses would point to the same mail database.

Without talking about DNS changes needed to accomplish this, what needs to be changed on my domino server for it to work as described please ?

In the “fully qualified internet hostname” field in the server doc, can you add a second internet hostname ?

Thanks

in your global domain doc you would add your new internet domain as the primary and add your old internet domain as an alias.

Yes that work, thanks

Also had to setup a directory assistance so the mails sent at

james@domain1.com or james@domain2.com would both endup in the same mailbox.
