Multiple SMTP servers

I know you can use various SMTP servers for various mail domains by creating a foreign SMTP domain document.

What I would like to know though, is if you can have 2 Domino Servers, one in each data centre routing mail to separate SMTP servers. So rather than routing different domains, can you route different domino servers to different SMTP servers?

Did you try using the 'local internet domain smart host’on the Router/SMTP tab in the configuration document? or the relay host field?
