Multiple NRPC Connections

Hi,

Just looking in my administrator client, I notice that 1 of my users has 30 NRPC connections against different port numbers. Is this normal (the fact that no one else has more than 2 NRPC connections make me think not).

Could someone enlightem me as to what this is doing and, if I need to, how to resolve it.

Cath, I posted the same question last Friday - no responses yet. In my case the server is on OS/400 so I would think this is a client configuration issue. Does this happen for the same user or does it change users when it occurs? Also check users’ OS. Let me know if you find something.

Hi Roger,

It’s actually just one user using XP and a 6.03 client. We have a number of other clients with the same setup but without this problem. If I find anything I’ll post it.

I am experiencing the same. Always the same user, on 6.5.(W2K) server with the user using XP.

Any resolution?
