Multiple Notes versions on a same computer

Hi to all,

I want to install R5.13 on a partition and R6.5.5 on another. I want to be able to start R6.5.5 before R5.13 or whatever. I want them in different process. I know it is possible as it is working on my old computer.

I remember that I had to change something in the registry but don’t remember what… and don’t know if I have to change something else too.

Now, R5 is working only if it is started before R6.

Please help…

Two things:1) Simply tell it where the INI file is:

  1. Sometimes, the order that you install the different versions makes a big difference. If necessary, reinstall the earlier version.

The clou here is that you shouldn’t start notes.exe, but nlnotes.exe. If you point your shortcuts to that file it will work.
